  # Mister Sparky Ugly Electrical Service Contest – Official Rules ## NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN ### Sponsor The Ugly Electrical Service Contest ("Contest") is sponsored by Mister Sparky ("Sponsor"). ### Contest Period The Contest begins on the date announced in the official Facebook post and ends on the date specified in that post. Entries received after the stated deadline will not be eligible. ### Eligibility The Contest is open to legal homeowners who: * Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. * Own and reside in the home being submitted. * Live within Sponsor's current service territory. * Have an existing electrical service that is owned by the homeowner and eligible for replacement. The following individuals are not eligible: * Employees, owners, officers, directors, or contractors of Sponsor. * Immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) of employees or owners. * Persons living in the same household as employees or owners. ### How to Enter To enter, participants must: 1. Submit a photo of their existing electrical service equipment as instructed in the contest post. 2. Provide any requested contact information. 3. Confirm they are the homeowner of the property shown. Limit one entry per household unless otherwise stated. ### Winner Selection One winner will be selected at Sponsor's sole discretion based on factors that may include, but are not limited to: * Condition and appearance of the existing electrical service. * Safety concerns. * Upgrade impact and overall need. * Quality and completeness of the submission. Sponsor reserves the right to verify all information before declaring a winner. ### Prize The winner will receive a complimentary replacement of their existing electrical service, subject to these Terms and Conditions. Approximate retail value varies based on project requirements. Prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash or other services. ### Scope of Work Included The prize includes: * Replacement of the existing electrical service equipment. * Replacement of meter socket, service mast, service entrance conductors, grounding, and related components as determined necessary by Sponsor. * Standard permits and inspections required for the replacement work. ### Scope of Work NOT Included The prize does NOT include: * Service upgrades involving increased amperage or load calculations. * Changes in service size (e.g., 100A to 200A). * Panel upgrades unrelated to the service replacement. * Generator installations. * Whole-home rewiring. * Repairs unrelated to the service replacement. * Utility company charges, fees, or requirements beyond standard service replacement. * Structural, roofing, siding, landscaping, concrete, drywall, painting, or other restoration work beyond what Sponsor deems necessary. Any additional work requested by the homeowner may be quoted separately and is not included in the prize. ### Site Inspection and Approval The selected winner must allow Sponsor to conduct an on-site inspection. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry if: * The installation is unsafe to access. * The project requires extensive structural modifications. * Utility requirements make the project impractical. * Permits or approvals cannot be obtained. * The project exceeds the intended scope of the Contest. If the selected winner is deemed ineligible or the project is not approved, Sponsor may select an alternate winner. ### Scheduling The winner must complete the project within a reasonable time frame determined by Sponsor. Scheduling is subject to permit approvals, utility coordination, weather conditions, material availability, and workforce availability. ### Publicity Release By entering, participants grant Sponsor permission to: * Use submitted photographs. * Photograph and video the property before, during, and after the project. * Use the participant's first name, city, and project details for promotional purposes. No additional compensation will be provided. ### Social Media Disclaimer This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta. Participants release Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from any responsibility related to the Contest. ### General Conditions Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. Sponsor's decisions regarding eligibility, winner selection, and project scope are final. Void where prohibited by law. ### Acceptance of Rules By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions made by Sponsor. Expires: June 30, 2026
