"After scanning Google reviews, I opted for Mister Sparky based on the praise for their technicians being personable, professional, and offering fair prices. Devin Howay, the assigned technician, truly embodied these qualities. He proved both personable and knowledgeable, efficiently replacing two breakers—having to purchase one from Lowe's. Notably, he engaged us in a pleasant 30 to 45-minute conversation about our recent vacation to the Outer Banks. However, my main issue arises when considering the overall cost. With additional fees for after-hours service (as it was a Saturday) and the retail prices of the breakers ($80 per breaker), the total of cost per breaker was $236. I calculated labor costs at $156 per breaker or $316 for less that a hour strikes me as unreasonable. Regrettably, based on this experience, I am hesitant about engaging their services again in the future. Update: Following a discussion with Scott, the Manager, he successfully addressed my sole issue regarding the service provided. Consequently, I am awarding them a 4-star review as the remainder of the service call was commendable."
