I had such a wonderful experience with Everette From Mr Sparky electrical. He replaced the covers of my outside electrical outlets with customer supplied metal ones. He did not mind that I watched him the whole time, and did his job quickly efficiently and was chatting with me the whole time… So friendly and courteous! If Everette is a typical example of this companies, employees, then Mr Sparky has a good thing going! From the time I made my appointment, I have had a good experience. The young lady who scheduled me was very pleasant and professional, I got updates from the robot system, and I got a call about 45 minutes before my service time, to make sure that I was home, which was very much appreciated. There was one small misunderstanding in regard to the pricing, since I did supply the part, but the Supervisor cleared that up very quickly without any negativity whatsoever. A great organization overall!

Scheduling was easy, but they missed the four-hour window on the first day and had to reschedule for the following day. When I asked if they could ensure an early arrival on the second day, all they could do was leave a note. They apologized repeatedly, which became frustrating. After waiting at home all morning, apologies do not really help. They were communicative throughout, but the scheduling team seemed to lack the authority and systems to actually resolve issues properly and are not trained in dealing with tensions that arise due to missed appointments. I also did not like that I was not given even an indicative price to install my ceiling light. I went ahead anyway, but was prepared with a maximum price in mind in case the quote felt inflated due to the on-site leverage of having someone already there and ready to proceed. On the actual appointment, they got the job done quickly and effectively, which I appreciated. However, the experience felt very upsell-driven. At multiple points, the technician identified additional “issues” and suggested further work. I was not present, but my wife was, and she is familiar with this kind of approach, though this felt excessive. For example, he raised concerns about a humming sound on the electrical panel and proposed additional fixes and even subscriptions. In the end, we paid $150 for the light installation, but were quoted upwards of $1,700 in additional work and services. It felt like there was a push to lock us into further work rather than simply completing the job at hand. Overall, the installation itself was done well, but you do need to be cautious and prepared for managing costs. Shame there are no longer any local electricians you can just ring up.

Extremely happy, they definitely came to the rescue because I had no power at my home and I had my son at home.
