Many states across the country deal with tropical storms, lightning strikes, and other issues that cause outages multiple times a year. Unfortunately, there are instances where outages can last numerous days. Installing a generator is the perfect solution for backup power. Having a generator means that you can keep the AC running when the power goes out, and you can still use essential appliances in your kitchen. Reach out to our team today to discover what generator will best fit your needs and your budget.
Good generators are durable, but even the best ones stop being reliable after enough use. If your generator is costing more in fuel, has trouble starting, or has inconsistent performance, Mister Sparky can replace your generator with a model that suits your household's size, your specific needs, and your budget. Because generators are vital to your comfort (and survival, in an emergency), you need a model that offers cost-effective performance. All models we offer are the highest-quality generators in the business, and each replacement falls under our two-year guarantee. Speak with us for more information!
If you already have a generator installed in your home, but it’s not working correctly, our team is here to help you with maintenance. The longer you have a malfunctioning generator, the more risk there is of not having electricity in case of a power outage. Our technicians can inspect the issue with your generator and determine the solution needed. We will provide you with a thorough explanation of the generator repair job and the price before any of the work begins.
To keep your generator hooked up to your home's electrical system and separate from the power grid, you need to install a transfer switch. It ensures an uninterrupted power supply to essential appliances and systems in your home. It also protects your home from the danger of having electricity flowing from both sources at once. If the power supply to your home goes out in a storm, the transfer switch kicks in so that you automatically have electricity coming from your generator.
At Mister Sparky®, our electricians are highly skilled, licensed, and trained to handle any electrical project, no matter how big or small. When we visit our clients’ homes, we always identify potential electrical hazards and fix them before they cause serious damage. Our electricians respect your time and your home. Chris, our assigned electrician from Mister Sparky, didn't impress me at first meeting. He was an hour-and-a-half late. However, when he explained that he was delayed getting necessities from the warehouse, I understood. Upon arrival, when we extensively detailed the work to be done, he listened carefully, and took photos. He looked at several circuit breaker boxes (we have solar), traced circuits, and went to work. He mounted a surge suppressor on the power line leading to our A/C compressor outside. He changed out switches, crawled through the attic, expertly cut through our wall, and ran wires to permanently mount/custom install a wall lamp highlighting a painting. He replaced several GFIs (two inside, and two outside), and generally worked steadily, skipping lunch, and finishing shortly after 3 pm. We were relieved because we had scheduled appointments, and Chris also had a dentist appointment. We were able to keep our schedule; I hope Chris made his appointment on time. He was a quality worker: fast and professional. Plus, he didn't even complain as I assaulted his ears/sensibilities with my instrument practice session. (It evened out though, we have no kids or pets.) We will see him again tomorrow.

Anthony your electrician professional was outstanding in service. You should be proud of having him on your team. Anthony gave me good advice on what he did. When I was out at his truck I noticed the truck was very clean and all his equipment was put in place. Anthony's uniform was clean and very nice, he had a nice smile. Thank you Anthony okay guess what we got it for we had a 15% discount to military we got it for a $101 and it's LED so I just put them there for right now before I can take them back so with that return $25 we had it done for $75 yep

Well I didn't get any service done because the price was ridiculously high, but they were in range of other electrician companies. I don't believe in overcharging people who clearly cannot afford it. You can tell by what they drive, where they live, & how expensive their house is. If they can afford nice things then they can pay these prices, but I think you should look at what I explained & give these people like a 40% reduction on labor in the estimate. Like if they show you that they are disabled, or on snap. They would have to provide proof. You know if someone is driving a 1998 truck, lives in a 800sf house, & have kids, or disabled probably don't have the money to spare unless you offer a 40% reduction on labor, but parts will have to remain the same then I bet you will get more jobs. You will get so many that it would be worth it. If they are renting yes charge the landlord the regular price. That is my opinion & I know you clearly will not see it as a possibility. Thank you p.s. the guy you sent here was the nicest person I have ever met. He was definitely customer oriented, since customer service is the lifeline of any good company that deals with the public on a daily routine.

Ryan did an Awesome job repairing the electrical defects in my home. I was a bit disappointed with the suggestive selling of other services that were presented as urgent by him. He wouldn’t take no for an answer and called a rep from the office, who further attempted to persuade me to buy more services. Otherwise, I was completely satisfied. Ryan was very pleasant and personable.

Highly recommend this team! Chris and Ryan were great. Clear quote, efficient 30A sauna circuit install. They seamlessly switched to 240V/15A for our model upgrade on the follow-up—no extra cost or hassle. Punctual, tidy, and communicative. 5 stars—stress-free experience!
