Mr. Sparky installed all of our hardwired smoke detectors about five years ago and the installation went very well. The technicians have always been friendly and efficient. They also replaced two of our units under warranty this year, which we appreciated. The only concern is that the units were supposed to last ten years and a few started failing around year five. Yesterday we heard a steady beeping and assumed it was another hardwired detector. We made that assumption because two had already failed this year. We scheduled what we believed was a warranty visit. The technician arrived quickly, disconnected the smoke detector, and confirmed that the sound was actually coming from a plug in CO detector in the hallway. The visit took about ten minutes and we were charged the full three hundred dollar emergency rate. My only frustration is that I was not told ahead of time that emergency pricing would apply if the issue turned out not to be warranty related. It would have helped us make a more informed decision about having someone come out on a weekend. The technician was professional and we appreciate the work he did, but clearer communication during scheduling would have prevented the surprise. Overall we have had good experiences with the company. However, I recommend more transparency during scheduling so customers understand possible charges before the visit.

Kristopher did a quick job of diagnosing the issue and presented a quote for replacement of the panel. He advised me that a tech, Steven, would be coming to replace the panel in an hour or 2. Steven was there on time and completed the work in a timely manner. Both Kristopher and Steven were very professional and knowledgeable about the work to be done. Cleaned up all the trash too. Great job guys.l!
