Robert Gil is a journeyman electrician based in San Jose, California, with over a decade of hands-on experience spanning residential, commercial, and large-scale construction projects. Known for reliability, precision, and a strong commitment to safety, he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality electrical installations that meet code and stand the test of time.

Robert's career began in 2014 with IBEW Local 332 in San Jose, where he spent more than seven years mastering the full range of the trade. During that time he installed and wired transformers, service panels, and circuit breakers; planned wiring layouts from specifications and applicable codes; and used precision testing instruments such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, and oscilloscopes to diagnose and resolve complex faults. He developed particular expertise working with both 120/208-volt and 347/600-volt systems, often coordinating closely with other trades and general contractors to bring intricate projects to completion.

Since then, Robert has carried that experience through journeyman roles at Premier Electric in Livermore, Revolt Electric in Santa Clara, and Kaave Electric in San Jose. Across these positions he has handled everything from rough-in, termination, and underground work to panel upgrades, sub-panel installation, surge protection, and backup generator systems. His troubleshooting skills are a defining strength — he is adept at pinpointing the root cause of electrical malfunctions quickly and implementing effective, lasting solutions.

Beyond his technical abilities, Robert is valued as a mentor and team player. He has trained and guided apprentice electricians throughout his career, sharing the techniques and best practices that shaped his own success. Whether interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment, or executing installations under tight deadlines, he consistently keeps job sites organized, productive, and compliant with industry standards.

Robert approaches every project with a craftsman's attention to detail and a problem-solver's mindset. His blend of deep field experience, code knowledge, and collaborative spirit makes him a dependable asset on any crew and a trusted resource for clients who expect quality work done right the first time.
