Needed outdoor GFCI installed. Old one would not reset. Jamaal arrived within 2 hours of my call. He did an outstanding job, and the price was very reasonable. Nice to have my landscape lights back on. Have called Mr. Sparky several times for services and you get peace of mind using a professional outfit. I recommend them.
I received a Mister Sparky email saying with the possibility of severe storms and possible power fluctuations this summer, that it was time to consider adding a Whole Home Surge Protector. A few years ago, Georgia Power installed a home surge defender around the electric meter that was billed as a separate line item on each monthly bill. In late 2024 Georgia Power sent a notice that the surge defender was being discontinued, and it would be removed in early 2025. The Mister Sparky email reminded me of the need to get the Home Surge Protector installed. Called Mister Sparky on 5/5/26 and scheduled an appointment for the next afternoon. Got a text and email confirmation. On 5/6/26, I got a text and email saying Adam W was on the way. When Adam arrived, he wrote down 3 different Surge Protection options with different warranty periods and costs. Adam also explained that the surge proctor would be installed near the electric breaker panel and why this method was better than the previous Georgia Power protection. He also explained that it only protected against power surges and NOT power outages that would require getting a backup generator. Selected the option with a 5-year warranty. Also discussed other electrical modifications we would like. Adam then said he would return the next day to do the install. On the afternoon of 5/7/26, I got a text and email when Adam W was on the way. He professionally completed the install in a very short time. He then took the action we requested to relocate the two lights under our kitchen cabinets. All was done within the estimated cost. THANKS MUCH FOR THE GREAT WORK, ADAM!!
The Mister Sparky install team came out and installed my car charger for me. They did a great job and cleaned up after the job was complete. I would highly recommend these guys for any electrical needs.
