I had an excellent experience with Mister Sparky of Florence SC! They installed a ceiling fan in my barber studio and did an outstanding job. The work was professional, quick, and clean—everything was done with care and attention to detail. The fan looks great and works perfectly, making the shop more comfortable for my clients. Great experience resolving a series of complex upgrades! My home is older and has had several additions over the decades and I had three breaker boxes consolidated into one that meets code. Smaller non related repairs were also included in this job. Brian (master electrician) and his assistant, Billy, came out to take on this huge transformation. I will say that Brian totally knows his stuff and at this point would not consider using anybody else. A larger company such as Mister Sparky actually can setup and complete jobs much faster than some of the local guys that may be great at what they do, but just don't have the resources to get these larger jobs done so quickly. Brian coordinated: pulling permits for the job, ensuring the power company was onsite (day of) to disconnect power from the street, have them return for reconnection, as well as the coordination of onsite county inspection to dovetail in a way that to me seemed seamless. Everyone was extremely professional ensuring proper protocol was followed to meet code. If you have an older home that was constructed in the 1950s - 1970s, please check to see if you have any Federal Pacific breaker boxes. Also do your own due diligence and you will see countless accounts of the dangers that exist due to breakers not flipping when electrical overloads do occur. Your house could burn down (based on my online research). All of this was done over the span of one and a half days (cold, windy, with rain); these guys just kept going at it regardless. I am more than pleased and can rest better knowing my older home is safer. I recommend using this group and I will be reaching out again for some smaller (nice to have) upgrades soon.
