An electric vehicle’s ability to quickly recharge depends on two things: a home’s electrical supply and the EV charging unit used. EV chargers are broken down into three levels. Level one chargers are the slowest, while level three chargers are the fastest.
A level 1 charger comes standard with an electric vehicle. Because they use a home’s standard outlet, these chargers are most useful for slow overnight charges.
Level two chargers do their job faster but require an electrician for installation. These chargers need a dedicated 240-volt circuit to supply a current strong enough to charge an electric vehicle at a faster rate. Level 2 chargers can add approximately 70 miles of range for each hour of charging! These are the most popular options for home charging.
Level 3 EV chargers are incredibly fast but require an industrial supply of power, making them difficult for homeowners to install. These charging stations can recharge an electric vehicle’s battery to 80% in only 30 minutes. Level 3 chargers are not typically possible to install at home.

Our tech Tyler Cox showed up as scheduled , went right to work doing a visual check and explained the cost, once it was agreed on he went straight into the motorhome and started work, didn't take him long to find the issue, he adjusted the cost due to not being a major problem. Also changed out the 50 amp to 30 plug for our travel trailer. Very professional about his work, would definitely call him back if needed!

Purchased and closed on my house on a Tuesday. On Saturday I had to call the fire department because the outlets(every single) outlet was wired incorrectly. Yes, there was an inspection. Called Mr. Sparky for an urgent call and was able to get a technician out by Sunday night. I will leave this technician anonymous. He informed that he would need to do a complete receptacle change(every outlet and fixture)all would need replaced. Okay. If that means no FIRE...let's do it. So he shows up 4 hours later than he said he would be here with a cigarette in his mouth. I slammed the door in his face. He then proceeded to tell me it would take just few hours since he had help. His help will also remain anonymous. I am not educated in electrical wiring so I let them work. Almost 7 hours later they are leaving. They left a lot of clippings everywhere, even left their trash can and trash on my porch. Brush it off. My house is safe now...or I thought. Less than an hour after he leaves I lose electricity in my bathroom. A few hours after that, my entire south side of my house loses power. Called that technician (after he repeatedly assured me to call day or night) and he would not answer. Called Mr. Sparky...Enter Timmy. I explained my previous experience and he set to work. It only took him a few minutes but he had it figured out. He then took a look at some other fixtures and noticed they too were done wrong...gulp. He assured me he would be back the next day to follow up since all of my immediate issues were resolved. By around 3 or 4 pm and Timmy is still out on a call, no worries, I called and let Mr. Sparky relay a message to Timmy to reschedule because I had class and Timmy as it turns out is high demand. Hmmmmm...I do not pretend to know why. Timmy called at around 7 pm and asked if he could get to those other outlets!! It was early for him and he could get it done if I didn't mind...his words! I was flabbergasted! Most everybody else would be on their couch by then! Not Timmy! Timmy was there until after 1230 at night; methodically checking every outlet, stripping wires, tightening screws and watching two curious fat cats run around him as he attached faceplate after faceplate with quite possibly the most worn out screw driver I have ever seen. He was respectful, he was kind, he cleaned up after himself and the previous electricians and answered every question I had. Professionals like Timmy Tarby are not in it just for the sales numbers or the profit. He legitimately cares about his quality of work, and the people he is working for and it shows through his actions. Not every hero wears capes. Some heroes (my hero), has an electricians bag, southern accent and a work-ethic a country mile wide!! Thank you does not adequately convey how grateful I am. There is something to be said about not having to worry about your house catching fire because of one bad technician. So thank you Timmy. Timmy is a huge asset to Mr. Sparky and I hope that they do realize his value!
