David came out and from the get go he was explaining everything to me while making eye contact. These actions, and the knowledgeable recommendations that he presented not only proved to me that I selected the company that is many levels above the rest, but his attention to detail and listening skills pushed this company over the top! He did the entire home electrical inspection and to put it plainly he quite possibly saved not only my family but neighbors as well by identifying a huge fire hazard. I’m still shaking my head, because the company that did work a year ago (not Mr Sparky) tied there electrical in with a federal pacific breaker box. If anyone has this name brand breaker box get it replaced immediately (my psa)! David represents a professionally run establishment that quite frankly made me feel like family by the end of his visit. I will be using them for the rest of my life. The price was reasonable and I give them my highest recommendation to anyone that needs any electrical work done. Thank you David for restoring my faith in a trade company again. Had issues with smoke detectors shorting out plus 3 light switches that would occasionally pop when flipping on and off. Being that I’m not an electrician I started calling around for electricians, 2 which never called back. My wife said we just received the Five Star Rated 2026 Montgomery County Homeowner Referral Guidebook, we found Mr Sparky and decided to give them a call. They immediately answered the phone and had someone scheduled the next morning. They texted updates and confirmed the appointment then sent the bio of the electrician. Larry was the electrician that was sent to our home and after listening to my description of the issues he informed us of what he was going to do to find the issue with costs, after our approval he began working. After finding the issue he had it fixed within an hour. He then replaced 3 bad light switches of which one of them had burned and we didn’t even know it. I would recommend Mr Sparky and if you can request Larry! Thanks Larry for a great job.

Anytime I deal with electrical work, I expect the electrician to either find something unusual or give me a sales pitch about how my home isn’t up to code. Recently, I needed a Level 2 EV charger installed and reached out to Mister Sparky after several vendors—recommended by car dealers—only provided quotes based on photos. I wanted someone to actually come out, inspect everything, and make sure my electrical setup was correct before giving an estimate. That’s where Jeremy and Mister Sparky stood out. Jeremy could have easily undercut the competition after I showed him the quotes I received and just completed the job. Instead, he took the time to provide a thorough evaluation and offer thoughtful suggestions for future improvements. He pointed out areas where previous work could have been done better and clearly explained what he recommended fixing. What really stood out was that he sat down with me and walked through everything in detail. I never felt like I was being asked to approve work blindly. Since I hadn’t experienced any electrical issues, I wouldn’t have known anything needed attention—but Jeremy made sure I understood exactly what was going on and why certain improvements mattered for safety. Some of his recommendations were more extensive and aligned with best practices, but there was zero pressure to move forward with them. He simply explained their importance, then proceeded with the EV charger installation and helped me map out a plan for any future upgrades. Jeremy earned my trust by taking the time to educate me and make sure I fully understood my home’s electrical system, rather than pushing unnecessary work. That level of transparency and professionalism is hard to find.

Was able to make a call and have someone out to my house within a few hours, customer service was great, my technician Diana was amazing! She answered all my questions and was very nice and professional. I will definitely be recommending them to others in need of an electrical company!

When a company says customer service is its top priority, you hope they mean it. Mr. Sparky absolutely does. I originally contacted Mr. Sparky to address some lighting issues in my home. Unfortunately, my initial experience wasn’t what I had expected. Instead of leaving it at that, I reached out to share my concerns. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Kasey, the supervisor. He did something that’s surprisingly rare these days he listened. He didn’t make excuses, shift blame, or try to minimize my concerns. He simply listened and focused on making things right. Kasey went far above and beyond to resolve the situation, and in doing so, showed me that Mr. Sparky truly values its customers and is committed to delivering a 10/10 experience. I also want to recognize Jovany for his quick, efficient, and excellent work. The lighting turned out great, and the quality of the installation speaks for itself. Because of how this situation was handled, Mr. Sparky has earned my trust, and they’ll be my first call for any future electrical needs.
